The FOERSTER SIGMATEST is a portable eddy current instrument designed for accurate and reliable measurement of the electrical conductivity of non-ferromagnetic metals. It is used to determine physical and technical material properties in applications such as quality control of manufactured products, verification of material combinations, sorting of metals, alloys and scrap, aircraft maintenance, heat damage assessment, and in-process controls within metallurgy and production environments. With five selectable measuring frequencies from 60 kHz to 960 kHz, SIGMATEST offers high measurement precision, including on very thin workpieces.

The device provides flexible operation in Touch mode for single-point measurements and Continuous mode for surface scanning, supported by recording functions for measurement documentation.
